Sule S Salami, M.D., FACC

Sule Steve Salami, MD trained in Cardiology and specializes in lnterventional Cardiology. He has been practicing since 2007 at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, Ml, which has been selected as one of the top 100 hospitals in the United States.

He obtained a position as Chief Clinical Cardiology/Interventional Cardiology Fellow in 2013 at St. John Hospital. Dr. Salami is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology; with extensive specialty training in Peripherals. 
Dr. Salami received outstanding awards for Resident Research and was Resident of the year in 2009-2010 at St. John Hospital and Medical Center.He was the American Heart Association Honor Recipient of the Minority Travel Grant in 2012. 

Dr. Salami joined Central Florida Cardiovascular Center in July of 2014 and has staff privileges at both Florida Hospital Waterman and Leesburg Regional Medical Center. Dr. Salami has professional memberships with the American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology and American College of Physicians.
He is married with two children. He enjoys spending time with his family, watching soccer and playing a good game of chess.
